He joined the Joshi Clinic in 2005 as a Massuer, and in 2009 graduated from the British School of Osteopathy, BSO with a B.Ost Degree and is now working as a qualified Osteopath. within the Joshi Clinic

"Having been a professional dancer, I have had first hand experience of what effect a highly demanding job, stressful career and physically punishing activity can have on the body… but I have also seen how the body can learn to adapt and perform extraordinary achievements not only when healthy but also when trying to self repair and overcome any injuries, physical difficulties or impairments. This ability of the body to adapt and self repair is one of the fundamental principles within Osteopathy.

As a masseur I have long seen and felt the positive benefits of massage, whether it's a relaxing and soothing massage, general deep tissue massage or as an integrated part of an Osteopathic treatment, together with manipulative techniques. My approach to Osteopathy and massage is to use elements from all my training and combining various styles and techniques, in order to customize my treatment to each person and their specific individual needs or preferences to accelerating the healing process and supporting the overall wellbeing."

In addition to Osteopathic treatments, separate massage sessions are offered. Elements from various styles can often be combined, to suit your individual preference.

Deep tissue massage

Massage using oil and various techniques such as strokes, kneading, stretches and other muscle techniques, to help restore tissue health by reduce excessive muscle tone, break down adhesions, elongate shortened muscles aid circulation and removal of waste products, among other things. The pressure can vary from light to very deep; depending on the clients own preferences.

Hot Stone massage

The deep penetrating heat from smooth, carefully heated basalt rocks are used as tools in massaging the soft tissue or carefully placed on the client's body. It can be used in combination with light massage to further enhance general relaxation, reduce stress and locally aid muscles relaxation, making the massage even more effective.

Hot stones will also or greatly enhance a deep tissue massage by creating increased local circulation, making muscles more pliable allowing for a really deep tissue massage by using the stones as tools to increase local pressure. The deep relaxation will help reducing pain and together with the increased metabolic rate from the increased temperature, further enhance tissue healing.

Thai massage

Developed from a combination of Chinese acupressure and Indian yoga stretches, done on a mattress on the floor, with the patient dressed in loose clothing, applying deep pressure, using fingers, hands, elbows, knees or feet along the body, together with many passive stretches and mobilisations of joints. The effects is similar to deep tissue massage but by working along energy lines the massage will also help balance energy and affect more distant parts of the body that are connected by these lines. Other training includes:
  • Remedial massage
  • Sports massage
  • Seated on-site massage
  • Manual Lymphatic drainage
  • Intra Oral/voice massage
  • Reflexology
  • Thai foot massage
  • Indian head massage
  • Acupuncture
  • Endermologie
